Marcel Muller werd 1964 in Nijmegen geboren. Na het Gymnasium in Duitsland en een afgebroken studie bouwkunde, studeerde hij aan de kunstacademie AKI in Enschede.
In de vakgroep fotografie, onder leiding van Onno Meeter, studeerde hij in 1991 af. Sinds 1994 is hij gevestigd in Utrecht en heeft daar een eigen studio.
Zijn specialisaties zijn portretfotografie, modellenfotografie, productfotografie, architectuurfotografie en kunstdocumentatie.
Daarnaast geeft hij ook workshops fotografie en digitale beeldbewerking.
Sinds 2010 is hij als docent verbonden aan de Nederlandse Fotovakschool.

Marcel Muller born in 1964 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. After german highschool and a begin in architecture, he studied arts at AKI artschool in Enschede, the Netherlands. Examination in photography under supervision of Onno Meeter in 1991. Since 1994 resident in Utrecht with own studio.
He is specialized in portrets, modelphotography, product-photos, architecturephotography and arts documentation.
Marcel gives workshops in photography and digital imaging and is teaching at the Nederlandse Fotovakschool.
